Stefano De Martino
Stefano began dancing inspired by his father, who was a ballet dancer. At the age of 10, he began studying ballet at the Gena Pinto studio in Torre Annunziata. He continued studying Hip Hop while keeping on developing a passion for modern and contemporary dance thanks to his long experience with Macia Del Prete's "oltre dance company".
When he was 18 he travelled to USA thanks to a scholarship awarded by Michèle Assaf that gave him the opportunity to study at Broadway Dance Center. In 2008 he won another scholarship to study with Renato Greco in Rome. In 2009 after several auditions he participated in "Amici", a very popular Italian Talent Show. Thanks to his skills he was able to get to the show semifinal. During his experience at "Amici", he was offered a six month apprenticeship with Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Before going to USA he was a guest teacher for several dance events, galas and dance studios. He was in the cast of "Let's dance" choreographed by Garrison Rochelle, a theater show in which he was the protagonist together with some of Amici"'s professional dancers.
In July 2010 he went to New York to start his experience with Complexions Contemporary Ballet taking part to the a long international tour that allowed him to travel to New Zeland, Australia and Hawaii. At the end of 2010, back in Italy, he became one of the professional dancers for "Amici". In 2011 he participated in the ballet show "Cassandra", with Rossella Brescia as the male protagonist.
