Cap\u00ec subito che la danza era la sua grande passione e che avrebbe fatto qualsiasi cosa pur di realizzare il suo sogno di diventare un ballerino professionista. Successivamente \u00e8 stato accettato all&#039;Accademia Nazionale delle Arti di Oslo e si \u00e8 laureato con una laurea nel 2009.<\/p><p>Dopo il college \u00e8 stato assunto per il progetto di tourn\u00e9e \u201cKamuyot\u201d, una collaborazione tra la svedese Riksteatern e la Batsheva Dance Company guidata dal direttore artistico Ohad Naharin.<\/p><p>Nel 2013, Jon Ole \u00e8 stato assunto dal Nederlands Dans Theatre 1, guidato dal direttore artistico Paul Lightfoot. Ha lavorato con coreografi come Paul Lighfoot e Sol Leon, Johan Inger, Hofesh Shechter, Marco Goecke, Alexander Ekman, Jiri Kylian, Mehdi Walerski e Crystal Pite.<\/p><p>Il suo lavoro coreografico ha partecipato a numerosi festival, locali e concorsi coreografici come il Cross Connection Choreography Competition di Copenhagen e lo Stockholm Dance Film Festival.<\/p><p>Nel 2015 gli \u00e8 stato assegnato il 1\u00b0 premio nel prestigioso concorso International Solo-Tanz Festival di Stoccarda. Con il suo assolo \u201ce conoscevamo gi\u00e0 i nomi\u201d gli \u00e8 stato assegnato il 1.Premio nella Danza e il 1.Premio nella categoria Coreografia.<\/p><p>Ha iniziato a insegnare nel 2009 e ha una grande passione nel condividere le sue conoscenze e l&#039;amore per la danza. Ha insegnato e coreografato in numerosi college, studi, corsi intensivi e compagnie in tutta Europa e negli Stati Uniti come Lines Ballet, Gallim Dance, Ballet Hisp\u00e1nico, Juilliard, NYU-Tisch, Marymount Manhattan University, Alvin Ailey School, Edge PAC, Movement Lifestyle, Millenium Dance Complex, Opificio Movimento, Peridance e Broadway Dance Center.<\/p><p>Jon attualmente vive a New York City dove continua a sviluppare il suo insegnamento, il lavoro coreografico e la danza con diversi coreografi e progetti crossover con film e foto.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jon Ole Olstad CONTEMPORARY &#8211; NORWAY \/ USA Jon Ole Olstad started dancing at the age of 16 and took his first ballet class when auditioning for a high school dance department.
