World Dance Movement – The International Virtual Competition will provide the opportunity to compete with dancers from all over the world as well as receive constructive feedback from top international-renowned judges.

We will broadcast LIVE all the video entries in the SENIOR DIVISION and the Senior Award Ceremony, plus the WDM Overall Top Cash Prize awards.

ENTRY FEES:
(Late Fee: from October 16-31, 2023)
- SOLO - $35 (Late fee: $45 per dancer)
- DUO/TRIO/QUARTET: $25 / per dancer (Late fee: $35 per dancer)
- GROUP (5-10 dancers): $20 / per dancer (Late fee: $30 per dancer)
- FORMATION (11+ dancers): $20 / per dancer (Late fee: $30 per dancer)
Registration fee: one time $3 per dancer per event
AGE CATEGORIES:
The competitor’s ages are calculated from September 1, 2023 WDM reserves the right to ask for proof of age. In all solo classes, competitors must dance in the class for their age:
- STUDENT: 7-12 years old
- JUNIOR: 13-16 years old
- SENIOR: 17 years old and over
DANCE CATEGORIES:
- CLASSICAL / NEO-CLASSICAL BALLET
- CONTEMPORARY / MODERN
- JAZZ / LYRICAL
- SHOW DANCE / OPEN / TAP
- STREET DANCE / COMMERCIAL
- DANCE FILM (Any Style) - category not applicable for cash prizes

- OVERALL BEST FEMALE DANCER: $350
- OVERALL BEST MALE DANCER: $350
- OVERALL BEST DUO/TRIO/QUARTET: $450
- OVERALL BEST SMALL GROUP: $650
- OVERALL BEST FORMATION: $800
- OVERALL BEST CHOREOGRAPHY: $500
SCHOLARSHIP PRIZES
- The First, Second and Third place winners in each category and each level will receive WDM Virtual Competition Electronic Placement Certificate Award.
- The First and Second place SOLO winners will receive a WDM Virtual Competition Electronic Placement Certificate Award and a Dance Scholarship from a prestigious international dance center, virtual company, university or live event
- All dancers will receive an electronic WDM Competition Certificate of Participation. Every paprticipant will receive as a gift, the Complete Forster Structural Program-Strength and Flexibility (retail value $29.99).
NOTE: Prizes may vary if there are less than 20 entries in any age group and division/category. The cash prizes will be discounted incrementally. We will combine categories if there are less than 10 entries in any category and style. We will never combine age groups. However, for example, we may combine ‘formations’ from STUDENT Classical, Contemporary, Show Dance /Open, Tap, Commercial etc. if there are not enough formations. Or we may even combine solos/duo/trio/ group and/or formation in any category / age level, if we do not have enough entries. The Cash prizes will be the largest possibility of the entries combined.
