WDM ITALY INTERNATIONAL DANCE COMPETITION 2026!
World Dance Movement – The International Dance Competition will provide the opportunity to compete with dancers from over 35 countries. Join us on a beautiful outdoor stage, in Castellana Grotte, during World Dance Movement Italy – The International Festival.

- World Dancer Of The Year - Soloist (must be pre-qualified to enter)
- Soloist
- Duo (will compete with Solo entries if we do not have at least 5 Duo entries to make a separate category per age group)
- Trio (will compete with Small Group entries if we do not have at least 5 Trio entries to make a separate category per age group)
- Small Group (4-10 dancers)
- Large Group (11+ dancers)

ENTRY FEES (In USD pay with credit card during registration (preferable) / in Euro must pay by wire-transfer)
WDOTY = WORLD DANCER OF THE YEAR - JULY 11 & July 17
Only qualified soloists may enter the WDOTY category on July 11 -
you must register in the OPEN category with 1 solo.
You may enter in as many categories as you would like on July 11 &12 without qualifying in the regular competition.

SENIOR - TRIO / SMALL GROUP
- 1st place: WDM Plaque + €250
- 2nd place: WDM Plaque + €200
- 3rd place: WDM Plaque + €100
SENIOR - LARGE GROUP
- 1st place: WDM Plaque + €350
- 2nd place: WDM Plaque + €250
- 3rd place: WDM Plaque + €150
NOTE: Prizes may vary if there are less than 10 entries in any age group and division/ category. The cash awards will be discounted incrementally. We will combine categories if there are less than 10 entries in any category and style. We will never combine age groups. However, for example, we may combine ‘formations’ from STUDENT Classical, Contemporary, Show Dance/Tap/Open, Commercial etc. if there are not enough formations. Or we may even combine solo/duo/trio/group & or formation in any category/ style/age level if we do not have enough entries. The cash prizes will be the largest possibility of the entries combined.
