ALBIN KONOPKA has enjoyed an international career as pianist, producer, composer, musical director/ supervisor, vocal and dance arranger and orchestrator. Most recently, he was the music director for Suites by Sondheim in Bucharest and a new musical Lies My Father Told Me in Montreal, Quebec. He was the orchestrator for the new musical The Jazz Singer also in Montreal, and the music director, arranger and orchestrator for a reading of a new musical Year of Living Dangerously in New York. His musical, The “Gay No More” Telethon was performed in the 2008 NYC Fringe Festival. He has written two other shows: Ambra (in Italian) and She Shtups To Conquer! His career spans over 25 years and he has performed in 24 countries. Other highlights include producing Magic in the Mirror in Korea and Smart Women, Foolish Choices in Tokyo, producing two shows for the White House (for Ronald Reagan) and touring with Liza Minelli to Europe, Australia, Canada, Japan, and the Philippines. Besides, English, he speaks Italian, Spanish, German and French.

Albin is on staff as a pianist with the Broadway shows Billy Elliot, Wicked and Mamma Mia.
