Francesca Dario (Venice, Italy) Ballet Ms. Dario received her formal training at the School of “Edda Marcialis school” in Venice- Italy , “Teatro la Scala” in Milan, Italy , and “4th Professional Specialization Dance Course” Rovigo, Italy .
Her early professional career consisted of performances with Teatro Sociale di Rovigo and Compagnia Fabula Saltica where she danced works by Fabrizio Monteverde and Claudio Ronda. Francesca performed in the musical opera ”La Divina Commedia” with choreography Anna Cuocolo. She was a Principal guest dancer in Carmen from Bizet with choreography by Mario Piazza.
In 2004 she joined Compagnia Pantarei (Artistic Director Michele Oliva) where she was a soloist and rehearsal director for Mr Oliva’s work. In the past year she was a soloist with Balletto 90. Ms. Dario joined Complexions Contemporary Ballet in 2010 and moved to NYC.
World Dance Movement – The International Festival and Competition began with an idea to give dancers around the world a forum through which they can learn from and inspire each other both artistically and culturally.
