World Dance Movement – The International Dance Competition

will provide the opportunity to compete with dancers from all over the world as well as receive constructive critiques from top international-renowned judges.

WHERE Virtual to be broadast:

• August 27 at 8 AM PST | 11 AM EST | 5 PM ITALY TIME 

We will broadcast LIVE all the video entries in the STUDENT DIVISION and the Student Award Ceremony.

• August 28 at 8 AM PST | 11 AM EST | 5 PM ITALY TIME 

We will broadcast LIVE all the video entries in the JUNIOR DIVISION and the Junior Award Ceremony.

• August 29 at 8 AM PST | 11 AM EST | 5 PM ITALY TIME 

We will broadcast LIVE all the video entries in the SENIOR DIVISION and the Senior Award Ceremony, plus the WDM Overall Top Cash Prize awards.

• Junior: 12-16 years old
• Senior: 17+ years old

• Soloist (1 dancer)
• Duo / Trio / Quartet (2, 3, or 4 dancers)
• Small Group (5-10 dancers)
• Large Group (Formations) (11 + dancers)

STYLE:

• Show Dance / Open
• Street Dance
• Contemporary / Modern
• Commercial Dance
• Jazz / Lyrical
• Classical Ballet – (must perform repertory) / Neo Classical
• Acro Dance
• Dance Film (Any Style)

ENTRY FEES:

• Soloist: $30 (Late fee: $40 per dancer)
• DUO/TRIO/QUARTET: $25 / per dancer (Late fee: $35 per dancer)
• GROUP (5-10 dancers): $20 / per dancer (Late fee: $30 per dancer)
• FORMATION (11+ dancers): $20 / per dancer (Late fee: $30 per dancer)

NOTE: All fees include IVA(taxes)

AWARDS

Dancers from around the world will compete for the following awards, cash and scholarships:

AGE CATEGORIES:

A competitor’s age is taken on June 1, 2021.

WDM reserves the right to ask for proof of age.
In all solo classes, competitors must dance in the class for their age:

• STUDENT: 7-12 years old
• JUNIOR: 13-16 years old
• SENIOR: 17 years old and over

SPECIAL AWARDS BY THE CELEBRITY JUDGES (Dance Film not eligible for cash prizes)

• OVERALL BEST FEMALE DANCER: $500
• OVERALL BEST MALE DANCER: $500
• OVERALL BEST DUO/TRIO/QUARTET: $750
• OVERALL BEST SMALL GROUP: $750
• OVERALL BEST FORMATION: $1000
• Best Large Group (Formation): $1500 + WDM Plaque

STUDENT / JUNIOR / SENIOR – SOLOIST

• 1st place: WDM Certificate + Dance Scholarship from a prestigious international dance center or event
• 2nd place: WDM Certificate + Dance Scholarship from a prestigious international dance center or event
• 3rd place: WDM Certificate

STUDENT / JUNIOR / SENIOR – DUO / TRIO / QUARTET

• 1st place: WDM Certificate
