The WDM Competition

World Dance Movement - The International Dance Competition will provide the opportunity to compete with dancers from over 25 countries as well as receive constructive critiques from top international-renowned choreographers.

ITALY

The WDM International Dance Competition will take place on a beautiful outdoor stage, in Castellana Grotte, during World Dance Movement Italy – The International Festival.

Junior: 12-16 years old
Senior: 17+ years old

Soloist
Duo (will compete with Solo entries if we do not have enough Duo entries to make a separate category)
Trio (will compete with Small Group entries if we do not have enough Trio entries to make a separate category)
Small Group (4-10 dancers)
Large Group (11 + dancers)

2nd place: WDM Plaque + €50 dance scholarship for any WDM 2021 Event

JUNIOR - SOLOIST / including DUO

1st place: €200 + €150 dance scholarship for any WDM 2021 Event
2nd place: €120 + €100 dance scholarship for any WDM 2021 Event

1st place: €250 + Scholarship from a prestigious international dance center or event
2nd place: €150 + Scholarship from a prestigious international dance center or event
3rd place: €100 + €100 scholarship for any 2021 WDM Event

SENIOR - SPECIAL AWARD

There will be a special prize awarded for the Complexions Contemporary Ballet Intensives to the participant who shows the highest level of technique, artistry and performance.
